2009 Riesling
Tasting Note: Fragrant aromas of apricot and honey marry with floral, grapefruit and gooseberry notes. Bright citrus notes of tangerine and clementine are layered with a touch of sweetness.
Vintage Note: After a long flowering and a long ripening period the 2009 harvest started in September with the late harvest varietals picked in October and early November. The total crop was smaller than in recent years. Overall the 2009 vintage is very similar to the 2007 and 2001 vintages, which delivered very lively, fruit driven, and durable wines.
