Located at the entrance of the McLaren Vale wine region is the Shingleback Cellar Door. Housed in the original barn of Aldersey Farm (circa 1890) is Shingleback's tasting area. Sample the entire range of Shingleback, Red Knot and The Gate wines in the cosy ambience of the open fire, iron roof and the original exposed beams and in the summer under the cool shade of the verandah. Also displayed and available for purchase, are the paintings by local artists and regional produce.
