Washington Wine
Washington’s high-quality premium wines have earned the state international recognition, critical acclaim and legions of loyal consumers. Recently recognized by Wine Enthusiast Magazine as “Wine Region of the Year,” Washington State is the nation’s second largest producer of premium wines. European grape varieties were first widely planted here in the 1950s but it is only in the last three decades that wine makers have come to fully appreciate Washington’s unique terroir that yields wines often described as a perfect blend of New World winemaking and Old World elegance and structure.
California Wine
California, the largest wine growing region in the United States, produces 90% of the nation’s wine. With incredibly diverse climate and geography, California wines are made in a myriad of styles from dozens of different grape varieties. One can always be certain to find a wine that appeals to them from California.
