Founded in 1984 by Eric and Janet Rindal, Waterbrook Winery was Walla Walla Washington's 4th winery, now home to more than 55. Waterbrook's wines are crafted by winemaker John Freeman who was raised in the Napa Valley and now calls Walla Walla home after the unspoiled landscape and exciting potential of the region won him over. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot lay claim to Waterbrook's most popular red varieties with soft, fleshy taste profiles allowing them to be enjoyed upon release while maintaining their depth and structure. Chardonnay is the most popular white wine, boasting recognition in the Wine Spectator's top fifty wine values for 5 years running. Consumers are invited to enjoy Waterbrook wines in the picturesque tasting room located on Main Street in downtown Walla Walla.
Waterbrook was acquired by Precept Wine Brands in December 2006.
